Dr. Sheila Mahooti
Being exposed to health care by her physician’s parents, Dr. Sheila Mahooti always knew she would enter the same field. She eventually found her calling in Dentistry, where she can combine artistic tendencies with patient care.
Dr. Sheila Mahooti began pursuing her dreams after graduating from New York University in 2001. She went on to further her skills and education by completing a one-year general practice residency program at the prestigious Manhattan VA hospital. From there, she relocated to sunny Southern California, where she has practiced ever since.
Our dentist, Encino Dr. Mahooti, has been a faculty member at UCLA School of Dentistry in the Clinical Restorative Department. She continuously educates herself through various seminars and courses to stay up-to-date with cutting-edge developments in dentistry. Additionally, she is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Society, and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society.
Even though Dr. Mahooti is passionate about delivering first-rate dental treatments, her priority lies in providing treatments in the most compassionate and gentle ways. Her goal is to release patients of anxiety, worries, and concerns related to all aspects of dentistry while in her care. Dr. Mahooti treats every patient as she would her family members.
Dr. Tina Jung
Dr. Jung is an Ivy-League-trained Board-Certified Periodontist with advanced training in minimally invasive periodontal and dental implant surgery. She graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she excelled in a rigorous dental and medical curriculum and learned from several of the leading clinicians in implant surgery and restorative dentistry. She received awards for outstanding academic achievements from Columbia University, including the Pierre Fauchard Award and the Alumni Award for Excellence.
