Meet Dr. Mahooti

Dr. Sheila Mahooti’s journey into dentistry began with her love of science and a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. After earning her dental degree from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry in 2001, she honed her skills during a residency at the Manhattan VA Medical Center, gaining invaluable experience in treating patients with a diverse range of dental needs.

Growing up with physician parents, Dr. Mahooti was inspired to pursue a healthcare career, but she found her true calling in dentistry—a perfect blend of science, artistry, and the joy of helping others. To Dr. Mahooti, every patient has a story, and she’s committed to ensuring that each feels valued, heard, and cared for. She has been a faculty member at UCLA School of Dentistry in the Clinical Restorative Department. She continually educates herself through various seminars and courses to stay up-to-date with dentistry’s latest developments.
